With a renewed branding and new exhibition areas

EMPACK AND LOGISTICS & AUTOMATION PREPARE TO BRING THE INDUSTRY TOGETHER THIS AUTUMN AT IFEMA

  • The fairs will be held on 24 and 25 November in Hall 9 of IFEMA. The occupancy rate is already around 80%.
  • Empack presents its new logo with an image that reflects its current commitment to cover the entire packaging value chain: materials, packaging, technology and packaging services.
  • Both fairs will have new exhibition spaces, such as the Robotic & Automation Village, and Embottle, and are expanding their collaborations with the incorporation of new partners.

Madrid, 26 May 2021. Empack, the leading annual packaging trade fair, and Logistics & Automation, the leading trade fair for the logistics and automation sectors, return to IFEMA’s Hall 9 on 24 and 25 November, stronger than ever. With six months to go, 78% of the space is already booked and the companies participating in previous editions have been joined for the first time by major brands in the sector, such as Mosca, Gaor TM, Plastic Repair and Box Graphic at Empack and Element Logic, Automha, Markable Solutions, Zaragoza Logistics Center, Logística y Codificación and Cascoo at Logistics & Automation.

With more than 120 exhibitors, one of the main novelties of Empack 2021 focuses on the change of image. Given that Empack covers the entire packaging value chain, materials, packaging design, technology, machinery and packaging services, with its new logo, it seeks to convey its commitment to each and every one of these areas, always hand in hand with new technologies.

Another of the attractions of this edition of Empack will be its new Embottle space, where attendees will be able to discover the latest in machinery and equipment for bottling lines, as well as processing and end-of-line machinery not only for the food and beverage sectors, but also for all those products that have a liquid or semi-liquid format, such as cosmetics, hygiene and cleaning products, chemicals or industrial oils.
Likewise, robotics will take centre stage at both Empack and Logistics & Automation 2021 thanks to a new area: the Robotic & Automation Village. This new space will be located at the nexus between the two fairs and will bring together solutions for packing, picking and palletising, sensors, scanning, industrial software and electronics, pneumatic systems and technology and components for automation and robotics.

Logistics & Automation now has more than 90 exhibitors and will feature outstanding spaces for content and live demonstrations, such as the Technology Forum, the Show Room and its two content rooms. In addition, e-commerce solutions will take centre stage with a large number of companies showcasing their proposals for e-commerce packaging and logistics technologies for e-commerce.

The 10 editions of Logistics & Automation and the 14 editions of Empack, and the more than 400 exhibitors and 11,000 visitors at the last edition, have consolidated the Easyfairs shows as the annual meeting point for the packaging and logistics sectors.
Proof of this is that the shows are widely supported by industry associations and partners such as UNO, CEL, ICIL, Itene, Packnet, Global Lean, Slimstock and many others, which have contributed to the success of the fairs.
And for the development of new areas and contents, Empack and Logistics & Automation have the support and collaboration of new partners in this edition. In this sense, Oscar Barranco, director of the event, pointed out that “the reception of this new edition and the new spaces among the exhibitor companies and among the different sectorial associations has been very positive. We are very grateful to AER (Spanish Association of Robotics and Automation), AERCE (Spanish Association of Purchasing, Contracting and Procurement Professionals), ASPACK (Spanish Association of Packaging, Packaging and Cardboard Transformation Manufacturers), AIFEC (Iberian Association of Continuous Label Manufacturers) and AECE (Association of Forklift Truck Companies) for joining the next edition of this great event”.
